**About the role**

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking qualified Pharmacy Technician(s) to join our friendly and professional team in the Pharmacy Department.

**Key Responsibilities**

The role consists of providing support in several areas which may include but not limited to:

- Dispensary (dispensing of inpatient, outpatient and discharge medications) and where appropriate compounding and clinical trials-related assistance;
- Distribution of stock to ward areas including pre-packing;
- Other technical duties (e.g. purchasing, pharmacy store, COVID-vaccine logistics and deliveries) to assist in the day to day functioning of pharmacy department.

**Skills and experience**
- Successful completion of an accredited Technician qualification or equivalent; e.g. Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent qualification as approved by AHPRA.
- Experience as a dispensary assistant or pharmacy technician in undertaking a range of dispensary tasks is viewed favourably.
