**Job description**:

With the entire operation now based out of our purpose built facility at Karawatha and part of the HelloFresh Group, Youfoodz is poised for more success, and requires a Pick Pack Manager to support the timely and efficient packaging and distribution of our products to our customers. We are looking for an experienced, high-potential operations expert, who is interested in helping us build a best in class food handling operation. You will be in charge of the pick-pack operations in our new production facility in Brisbane, supervising a team of up to 80 employees. You will identify and implement improvement measures in close coordination with our Production Director. We are looking for hands-on, numbers-driven and impact
- focused individuals.

**You will**:

- Lead the pick and pack team including the shopping managers and supervisors for a 7 day a week operation
- Be in charge of developing the operations improvement roadmap
- Develop and implement delivery initiatives and leadership to optimise efficiencies and meet budgeted cost targets including box costs and error rates
- Develop and maintain a safe work environment
- Be responsible for achieving all operational goals
- Drive strategic planning and forecasting
- Reward and recognise performance and execute on progressive discipline, as needed
- Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning
- Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network
- Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in the distribution centre to: provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the ever-changing business and stay focused on the customer experience
- Drive continuous improvement when it comes to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery, while growing and expanding capabilities that meet warehouse mandatory requirements

**You have/are**:

- 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment and/or production; preferably in food service, food production or automotive assembly
- Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage 50+ employees - our culture is a critical part of our success, and you need to help drive it
- Deep knowledge of Lean and Agile Production
- Excitement for working in a dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
- Interest in spending most of your time on the shop floor and working directly with all levels of staff
- Strong continuous improvement skills
- A metrics-driven mindset and are a keen user of Microsoft Excel/Google Analytics
- A customer service obsession and a willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs
- Effective communication and are a leader for employees, direct reports, cross-functional teams and executive leadership
- Proven ability to quickly adapt and drive the right results using data
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Ability to help develop policies and procedures that help mitigate inventory discrepancies
