James QLD Glass Operations located in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our supportive and efficient team.
In this role, you will assist our dispatch team with loading duties and ensure timely, safe deliveries to various job sites.The RoleSafely transport glass products to customers and job sitesLoad and unload glass materials with care to prevent damageInspect and maintain the truck to ensure safe operationFollow all traffic laws and company safety policiesCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staffComplete and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperworkAbout YouValid MR or HR (manual) license with a clean driving historyProven truck driving experience, ideally within the glass or manufacturing industryExperience handling and securing fragile loads is a plusAbility to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyExcellent time management and communication skillsKnowledge of the metropolitan Melbourne areaAbility to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test)The BenefitsMonthly paid RDO + 38-hour working weekImmediate start available with permanent ongoing workAll PPE, safety boots, and work clothes providedFull induction and safety training providedFree on-site parkingHealth insurance benefits – 7% discount with BUPAAccess to Employee Assistant Program - TELUS HealthTo ApplyIf you feel you can demonstrate the qualities above, please forward a cover letter and resume.Please note: Applicant will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening to secure employment with G.James.While we value the role of recruitment agencies, we are not accepting candidates through agencies at this time.G.
