OverviewGraduate Structural Engineer - Brisbane at Northrop Consulting Engineers.
This role offers early responsibility on real projects with mentoring and structured career development.What you'll doDesign structures within the Built Environment: Hospitals, Education Facilities, Sporting Facilities, Commercial Mixed Use Developments.Design structures across concrete, steel, and timber.Carry out site investigations and feasibility studies.Carry out structural design from concept through to construction stage.Develop structural computational models using software such as ETABS, RAM Concept, and SpaceGass.Carry out structural calculations, specifications and drawings providing solutions to design issues.Work on multi-disciplinary design projects liaising with Civil, Sustainability and Building Services teams.Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders and local/state government bodies.Who can applyTo be eligible to apply, you must have completed your university degree within the last year or be in your final year of study.
