**About the Role**

Are you interested in assisting the emergency response of affected communities in the aftermath of a disaster? TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current emergency management experience to join our team of teachers in delivering a course that skills volunteers on how to expertly manage an emergency scenario.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**
- Willing to join an exciting team of emergency management teachers
- Strong experience in emergency management response and coordination of volunteers
- Industry experience working in crisis management (natural disasters, COVID-19 pandemic etc)
- Coordinating and working with volunteers to plan and implement emergency responses

**Desirable**
- Possession of PUA60120 Advanced Diploma Public Safety (Emergency Management).

**Please note that possession of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is not mandatory to be considered for this position.**
