Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- The Assistant Store Manager - Store Operations, Sydney Brand Centre is the lead for all administration, business analysis, platforms, and compliance processes that underpin the day-to-day rhythm of an adidas Halo store. A Halo store is the pinnacle of the adidas Retail experience for adidas consumers as it relates to sales & customer service, people, training & product knowledge, operations, visual merchandising & activation.
- Drives profitability of store by meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets while controlling operational expenses (NS, CAPEX, OPEX).
- Supports store management team by sourcing and allocating appropriate resources within the store to provide consumers with outstanding experience while leading and inspiring store team to meet or exceed commercial goals and build brand equity.
- Represents the adidas brand/company brands and products in inspiring and impactful way. Amplifies the brand with every decision and every action.
- Works in close collaboration with Senior Store Manager, Retail Area Manager and Retail Back-Office functions to deliver implementation of strategic actions and projects for the store and in the market.
- Implements, drives and ensures compliance with Global Retail operational directives, processes, policies and standards within the store back office, proposing ideas and solutions to build a world class Brand Flagship Store.
- Single point of contact for first aid, crisis management and occupational health & safety compliance within the store.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Success:
- Supports leadership team to achieve sales, membership, expenditure and profit targets.
- Demonstrates ownership of store performance by monitoring the allocation of resources and organizes processes to drive profitability.
- Utilizes all available store and market data to make commercial decisions based on sound analysis and financial judgment.
- Seeks opportunities to build relationships and partner with other entities to enhance the exposure of the business to positively impact the net sales and brand equity within the marketplace.
- Administration:
- Accountable for the issuing of access control; alarms, store keys, user accounts and general systems for the store, in order to have an accurate log and account for the requisite access issued for all roles.
- Efficiently completes the HR processes for onboarding and offboarding all employees of the store, while ensuring all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Raises Purchase Orders and accordingly Goods Receipts to account for items or services that the store may require to operate such as stationery, shopping bags and other articles to support day-to-day operations.
- Communicates and ensures timely completion of maintenance requests by external suppliers and store development team.
- Business Analysis:
- Utilizes available store and market data to create cost efficient and effective store scheduling to best service consumer and business needs.
- Analyses the monthly and year-to-date store profit & loss statements, undertakes action and makes recommendations to the Senior Store Manager to further maximize profitability of the store.
- Supports the leadership team by facilitating key performance indicator (KPI) reporting and communication facets.

- Sustains integrity of inventory within the store through undertaking weekly inventory cycle counts, efficiently and accurately reporting and adjusting inventory variances within aLS and achieves shrinkage targets of
