About the Role

The SAP Platform Team provides exciting and seamless delivery of our business initiatives from idea to production by cultivating great Solutions, Development maturity and Operational excellence. As part of the Platform Team, the Deployment Lead will be responsible for the technical assessment of SAP related initiatives including migration and implementation across the enterprise.

This role will have specific focus on Project related landscapes across the enterprise.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage the technical requirements for the migration and deployment of release packages- Lead technical impact assessments across the Customer Markets Technology systems - Digital through to SAP- Lead code conflict management, merges and environment requirements for Delivery Teams within releases and across major projects.- Collaborate with Delivery Managers/Leads, Release Managers, Infrastructure teams to ensure release packages are assessed across Delivery Teams and Service Delivery.- Collaborate with project teams and Service Delivery on upgrades, patching activities and major initiatives.- Analytical and organisational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic program environment.

About you

What you'll bring to the table:
- Extensive experience in Release and Deployment methodologies- Ability to manage key stakeholder interests whilst at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests.- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to influence stakeholders of varying levels of seniority- Deep knowledge of hosting SAP Cloud solutions within AWS/MS Azure- Deep tech knowledge of SAP products and solutions on Netweaver 7.5, HANA, S4 HANA, SAP Cloud (HEC), SAP On-Premise solutions- Experience in Agile Delivery Framework- Knowledge of competitive environment and alternative tech solutions / approaches.- Experience and knowledge with SAP systems and network management and knowledge with SAP's System integration and implementation techniques.- Experience and knowledge in Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning.- Understanding of SAP implementations on Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, PowerVM, etc.)- Experience and knowledge with Clustering and High Availability solutions.- Experience and knowledge with ERP 6.0 Implementations on Windows, Linux and other operating systems- Experience and knowledge with Databases such as Oracle or DB2
