**About the role**

Based in our Adelaide office and reporting to the Vice President of People Experience, this role focuses on optimizing and delivering the Santos Health and Wellbeing Strategy globally. Collaborating with leaders across the organization, the role ensures the physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of Santos employees align with set goals and metrics. Responsibilities include managing health and wellbeing initiatives, fostering engagement, and aligning strategies with other business areas. This position offers the opportunity to innovate and drive strategic initiatives that support broader business goals, while navigating workplace complexities and shaping the future of workplace health.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the "Healthier Me" strategy, focussing on enhancing employee wellbeing to drive engagement, performance, and productivity.
- Monitoring and managing key people risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Driving the integration of wellbeing into business and communication strategies to foster leadership buy-in and employee engagement.
- Developing and implementing executable wellbeing programs and setting annual priorities.
- Identifying and supporting the management of the psycho-social climate and facilitating early intervention.
- Collaborating with leaders to tailor wellbeing support for specific groups, locations, and scenarios, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Gathering and utilising feedback and data to establish and monitor wellbeing metrics, and deliver targeted solutions.
- Strengthening the network of internal and external wellbeing resources, ensuring leadership and employee access to support services.
- Defining operational frameworks and success criteria for wellbeing initiatives, including governance and reporting structures.
- Championing workplace wellbeing, contributing thought leadership and research insights to position Santos as a leading organisation in employee support and engagement.

**About You**

Your expertise in psychological wellbeing, coupled with a capability for turning complex strategies into actionable programs, will drive tangible results. Armed with analytical skills, you'll harness data to inform decisions and gauge success. Anticipating challenges, you'll pioneer solutions that elevate both employee wellbeing and organizational culture. Ideally, you bring tertiary qualifications in disciplines like Science, Health Science, OHS, HR, or Safety, along with substantial experience in dynamic, impactful projects.
