Our client, a rapidly growing travel company based in Brisbane, Australia, with overseas operations, is currently seeking a **Travel Consultant** to join their team before **June 30th.**

As a key member of the team, you'll utilize your customer service expertise and outstanding communication skills to assist clients in crafting unforgettable travel experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meeting with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Selling and coordinating transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
- Providing expert advice on destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities.
- Handling payments, booking travel arrangements, and managing applicable fees.
- Crafting trip itineraries and making personalized travel arrangements for clients.
- Selling transportation, lodging, and entertainment activities to individuals and groups.

**Requirements**:

- Preferred experience working in the travel industry or similar.
- Experience traveling to the following destinations, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Borneo, and Thailand.
- High level of resilience, tenacity, and critical thinking.
- Independence and self-motivation for personal and professional development.
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
- Experience living and/or working in Japan, with a passion for the country and its culture.
- Determination to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Highly organized and productive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
