Overview
Finding the RIGHT FIT when it comes to joining a team can be difficult – sign up with Goodstart as a Casual Educator, try out a few centres and FIND your FIT. You'll have a home base centre for additional support and can work at one or several of our local centres. You'll be the first to know about permanent opportunities or stay as a regular casual if that works best for you.
As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you'll be a flexible, team-oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences.
Shifts available Monday - Friday 6am-6pm
To $44.20 p/hr + Super
Responsibilities
Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
Engaging and supervising the children at all times
Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

ACEQCA-approved early childhood qualification (ACEQCA abbreviated in original text) or equivalent

Willingness to travel between other local services
Flexible availability between Monday-Friday,
6am - 6pm
