**About The Role | Head of Procurement and Enterprise Support**
Aurizon is seeking a Head of Procurement and Enterprise Support to develop and elevate procurement and enablement strategies for the organisation. Reporting to the Group Executive (Corporate), the Head of Procurement and Enterprise Support is responsible for influencing the ongoing development and delivery of an enterprise-wide strategic procurement roadmap to deliver on the organisation's growth agenda.

**About You**:
We are seeking a passionate leader who can foster a culture of excellence and support the team to be bold in stretching the conventional understanding of what a procurement and supply chain team can do.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following attributes and experience:

- Extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management within a large and complex organisation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proven experience in driving cost savings and value creation through effective procurement practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A high level of skill in building, developing and leading high-performing teams with particular emphasis on customer focus and operating in a commercial environment
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field required with postgraduate tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
