**About the role**

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, your role will involve improving sustainability performance through the collection and analysis of performance data and disclosures across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the development of internal reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the MinRes Board, and the board-level Sustainability Committee
- Compilation and analytics of data reported in the MinRes annual reporting suite including the Sustainability Report, Sustainability Data Tables, Modern Slavery Statement, and Annual Report
- Provide support in the external sustainability assurance process
- Monitor key sustainability indicators, and as necessary, work to identify measures to mitigate and reverse negative trends
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to assist in the development of appropriate goals, metrics and processes for measuring MinRes' sustainability performance
- Assist in the delivery of business improvement projects to enhance sustainability data processes and systems
- Review ESG rating agency data validation requests
- Assist in the delivery of sustainability-related questionnaires such as ESG requests for information from investors and key stakeholders within MinRes' supply chain
- Support in creating awareness for internal leadership on emerging trends, frameworks, industry benchmarks, third party investor rating tools, regulatory or legislative changes and issues in the mining sector

**What you'll bring to the team**
- Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Data Science/Analytics or similar
- Minimum 2 years' experience, ideally in a corporate sustainability or related field
- Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and Power Bi
- Detail orientated with excellent organisational, data management and problem solving skills
- Effective communication, research and report writing skills
- Experience with corporate sustainability reporting, data management, and external assurance desired
- Strong research skills with the capability to analyse and interpret data for peer benchmarking and report creation
- Demonstrate an understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) trends and how they impact business
- Knowledge of global sustainability frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the incoming Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB)
- Experience engaging and working with external consultants to deliver sustainability outcomes
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing and manipulating large data sets along with expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI to improve analytical insights and support well informed decision making
