**Pay**: Ranges from $34.63 to $56.99 - qualifications and experience dependent

Are you an experienced early learning professional who's ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?

As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre's local community.

**In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Your Impact at Goodstart Clapham

The role is dual, time floating across the service working within the rooms and time in the office. You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre's local community.

Goodstart Clapham is located approximately 10 minutes from the city, which is nice and convenient for working parents. Carman Court was originally built in the late 1800's. The centre has had renovations throughout its time, but the character and charm of the building and grounds is still evident.

The centre can accommodate 57 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 7am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The centre has long servicing educators taking the centre from strength to strength building strong relationships with families.

You'll help achieve this by

Support the centre director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the centre director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
