Overview
Administration / Project Management Assistant (PMA) role at CMW Geosciences, a trans-Tasman Geotechnical Consultancy with offices across Australia and New Zealand. Based in the Adelaide (Tonsley) office, the PMA will assist busy project managers and field staff and be part of a team of 15, with support from the wider administration team for training.
This entry-level administration position offers training; no prior experience is required, but the candidate should be organized, proactive and personable.
Responsibilities
Support and undertake activities related to the delivery of projects including formatting documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.
Travel bookings and tracking.
Photocopying, scanning and binding on behalf of engineers.
Assist the Geotechnical Team with sub-contractor coordination and management, including tracking POs on behalf of the PMs.
Track project deliverables against schedules.
Assist with the completion of project-related quality documentation.
Maintain all CMW vehicles, including organizing registrations, repairs, services, record keeping, and updating registers.
Assist and support the Office Manager and team leaders in relation to quality and health and safety documentation.
Assist the Office Manager and HSE Representative with HSE auditing.
Coordinate office events and meetings; minute taking for the Office Manager and Project Managers.
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Office Manager.
Qualifications / Experience
No formal qualifications are required for this role; however, a strong knowledge of MS Office is required.
Experience or interest in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
