Commercial Finance Analyst – Melbourne
I'm working with a leading Australian retail & consumer goods business that is continuing to expand and invest in its finance team.
They are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support decision making and partner across retail, wholesale, and operations on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified or nearly qualified candidate who wants exposure to a true business partnering role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Role
Provide commercial insights and analysis to drive performance.
Partner with operational and commercial teams across sales, margin, and trading.
Deliver reporting packs with meaningful commentary for senior leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Contribute to financial modelling for projects and investment decisions.
Improve reporting tools, dashboards, and processes.
What We're Looking For
Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance.
CA/CPA qualified or close to completion.
2–5 years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or analysis (retail or consumer exposure highly regarded).
Strong Excel/financial modelling skills, with BI tool experience a bonus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
