About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Home Care Worker, you'll create cherished moments each day.

You will support our clients to live independently at home by providing personal care, respite, domestic assistance, assisted shopping and meal preparation.- Ongoing support provided by a dedicated service team- Flexible working hours- Mobile phone- Opportunity to work close to home - service locations available in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective client care and management.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.- Have your own car with insurance and a valid driver's license- First Aid Certificate (Level 2)

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care/Aged Care/Disability- NDIS workers screening check
