**Daily tasks and responsibilities**:
? Develop, coach, counsel, and direct Service Deli employees
? Mentor and provide direct assistance to the Assistant Service Deli Supervisor
? Monitors employee performance and provide proactive feedback to promote teamwork and accountability
? Participate in the employment process by making recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination
? Participate in Service Deli employee evaluations
? Respond to employee concerns using problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in accordance with the Costco
Employee Agreement and other applicable regulations
? Approve timecards and other reports
? Implement and uphold proper Service Deli and general safety procedures and standards
? Ensure health code compliance
? Review department profit and loss statement
? Develop and implement sales and merchandising plan for department
? Observe finished merchandise to ensure proper department production procedures are followed
? Approve and submit physical inventory periodically
? Approve and submit orders to buying office for equipment, merchandise, and supplies
? Coordinate proper maintenance and repairs for machinery, equipment, and implements
? Determine merchandise production requirements and participates in production
? Oversee merchandise presentation and merchandising
? Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines required by this position
? Complete and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training
required by warehouse and Service Deli
? Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
? Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

**Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery**:
? Phone, computer, calculator, copier, rotisserie, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, wrapping machine,
shears, knife, large wheeled racks, low pressure washer, cardboard baler, trash compactor, pallet jack blast chiller, air
hose cleaner, step ladder.

**Qualification**:
**Education/Training**: Higher School Certificate or trade qualification

**Experience**: Management or supervisory experience

Food service, employee relations, customer service or comparable experience, basic knowledge of

Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), good communication, strong interpersonal, organisation and problem
- solving skills, basic math skills.
