Merchandising Manager

We have an opportunity for a Merchandising Manager to join Samsung Electronics Australia.
In this role you will lead a national team responsible for executing flawless in-store retail execution across leading consumer electronics retailers.
Primary function is to drive sales and strengthen brand presence by ensuring point of sale materials, displays, and stock levels are consistently optimized.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead and manage a field team across multiple retail locations
Conduct regular store visits to audit and ensure merchandising execution is aligned with brand standards and retailer agreements
Monitor stock levels, planogram compliance, and promotional display performance, escalating issues as needed
Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to ensure team members represent the brand with professionalism and accuracy
Develop and implement schedules, routing plans, and coverage strategies to maximize field efficiency
Work closely with the retail and marketing teams to align field activities with campaign rollouts and seasonal initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience managing field merchandising teams, ideally in consumer electronics, FMCG, or premium branded products
Strong track record in retail execution, visual merchandising, and in-store promotional activity
Experience coordinating with key retail partners and store managers to resolve display or inventory challenges
Strong understanding of in-store retail technologies, such as planogram compliance tools and real-time reporting platforms.
Familiarity with managing point-of-sale platforms, promo display technologies and promo demo units in retail environments
Capable of analyzing field performance metrics and translating them into actionable insights

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
