The Strategy and Engagement Division manages and coordinates all executive government needs of the QRA including Cabinet, Parliament and Executive Council liaison, information management, correspondence, Queensland Reconstruction Board matters, stakeholder engagement, issues management, media and communications.In this role you will:
- Provide executive management support to the General Manager, Strategy & Engagement (S&E).
- Advise the General Manager, S&E on a wide range of confidential matters.
- Support the Office of the CEO by undertaking tasks coordinated by the CEO's Executive Assistant.
- Exercise judgement, authority and maintain high level networks to effectively co-ordinate the work of the division.
- Monitor and manage arrangements for QRA facilities and maintenance (e.g. advising on minor works and repairs schedules, negotiating with contractors, facilitating repairs and ensure that all facilities related issues are dealt within in a timely, appropriate manner.
- Prepare, collate and manage information for the development of reports, submissions, trip packs, Ministerial briefings and meetings, briefing notes and correspondence for the General Manager, S&E, and CEO as required.
- Build respectful and effective working relationships within the division and across the organisation, to ensure collaboration, and on time delivery of administrative accountabilities.
- Support the General Manager, S&E in building a high performing and positive culture within the division and across the organisation.
- Provide support to programs and projects as required and directed.
- Manage support and administrative staff across the organisation to ensure seamless deliver of services including, but not limited to, meetings, conferences, travel, financial process and other duties as required. This includes management of all administration policies and processes.
- Manage support for two Directors within the division.
- Lead and manage two staff members within the division.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct, all relevant WHS and HR policies, procedures, guidelines, directives and relevant legislation.

This role may require some outside of hours work and may be required to travel, across Queensland and interstate.
