**THE ROLE**

At St Clair Recreation Centre, we are dedicated to promoting health and wellness within our community. Our state-of-the-art facilities and diverse programs offer a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. We are seeking an enthusiastic Health and Fitness Coordinator to inspire our members to achieve their health goals.

The Health & Fitness Coordinator is a key conduit to improving the health of our community. Through championing physical activity, they will improve the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of our community by increasing the number of people participating in our programs.

The Health & Fitness Coordinator will provide leadership and direction to all staff within the health and fitness, personal training and group fitness areas of the business. Strong planning, reporting, marketing, and communication skills are essential.

Through a lense of innovation, industry knowledge and experience, the Health & Fitness Coordinator will identify targeted opportunities for program development, growth and collaboration to achieve outcomes aligned to business objectives, performance criteria and member's needs.

Forming a key component of the Centre Leadership Team, the Health & Fitness Coordinator will positively contribute a high performing culture through role modelling the "Y-Factor" values, a positive approach to service and desire to enrich lives through wellbeing.

This is a part-time permanent position, with negotiable hours.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Cert III & IV in Fitness
- (HLTAID003) Provide First Aid or equivalent
- (HLTAID001) Provide CPR or equivalent
- Professional Registration with a governing body, i.e. AUSActive

Desirable Qualifications and Licences:

- Strength for Life (COTA)
- Nationally recognised Pilates Qualification (mat or reformer level)
