**The Youth Pastor Role**
As a Youth Pastor you will play an essential role in mentoring, leading and developing a Christ-centred ministry for our young people. This includes creating a safe and fun environment where they can grow in their faith and develop relationships with those around them.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing spiritual and visionary leadership to the youth of the congregation.
- Preaching and discipleship.
- Leading the staff where required.

**About You**:

- Has a calling to walk alongside children, youth and young adults, sharing the life changing message of Jesus.
- Passion for inspiring and guiding young people as they grow in their faith
- Has a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Willingness to embrace the church's vision and statement of belief
- A strong servant heart and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with people of diverse ethnic, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
- Appropriate theological training.
- Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
- Hold a current Australian driver's license.
- Possess a Blue Card or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Possess a National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Willing to become endorsed as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ.

**Additional Information**:

- This role is fulltime with flexible working arrangements, salary and conditions negotiable based on the recommendations of Churches of Christ.
