This position is responsible for conducting and maintaining project administration services, whilst supporting the Project Manager and Construction Manager to co ordinate projects

This position also includes other company support functions such as Finance support to the Project Manager, Quality Management and Occupational Health and Safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to.
- Carry out Administrator functions and daily tasks (flight bookings, mobilisation bookings and accommodation bookings).
- Carry out Coordination functions and daily tasks (managing project lookahead spreadsheets and rostering reports).
- Administering the project schedules, timelines and milestones with input from other team members.
- Check daily diaries and site documentation.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Project Team.
- Provide Document control as required by the project.
- When requested act as SRP (Site Responsible Person) for the site team.
- Manage the purchasing of project office requisites such as stationary, office equipment and consumables.
- Manage project office reception when required, including incoming & outgoing mail/packages, office appointments and meetings.
- Assist finance in the preparation and consolidation of time sheeting, invoicing, reporting, general administration and as required.
- Coordinate OH&S and HR administration, in conjunction with head office, as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential
- Post-secondary and Administration Qualifications.
- Substantial experience working as a Project Administrator in an Engineering / Construction Environment.
- Experience in Project Co ordination.
- Advanced User of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred
- Local resource to Port Hedland.
- BHP, Roy Hill, Rio Tinto & FMG flight and accommodation booking experience.
- Experience working within rail industry on rail projects or with RIW/ERMS/SAP.
- Previous Project experience, working with FIFO resource.
- Prior experience operating timesheeting software.
- Prior experience using document control software.
- Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise and consult effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in setting up and maintaining project schedules on platforms available.
- Advanced skills and experience of MS Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in performing a similar role supporting projects.
