About the Role
As a
Senior Engineering Specialist
, you will support the
operation and maintenance of assets
that are critical to the delivery of
Air Navigation Services
and
Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS)
to industry.
This is a
unique opportunity
to directly contribute to enhancing
safety and service delivery
within the aviation sector.
You will join the
Communications Technology Services team
of a leading
avionics company
, where you will work on a wide range of engineering projects and tasks across the communications domain. The Senior Engineering Specialist is a
key role
, providing
technical leadership
and
systems engineering expertise
to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.
Specifically, you will:
Primarily support activities in the
VHF communications domain
.
Provide additional engineering support across the
UHF and HF communications domains
as required.
Deliver technical expertise to ensure the reliability, compliance, and safety of critical aviation systems.
Key Requirements
All candidates must:
Hold a
tertiary qualification in Engineering
.
Be
eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer
in accordance with relevant legislation
Have
essential aviation experience
.
Be an
Australian Citizen
& be able to achieve and maintain an
Australian Government Security Clearance
at the required level.
Be available to work
a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
.
