We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

**Position Overview**

As a Housekeeper at Maylands Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. You will be responsible for providing a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to ensure rooms are neat and well-presented.
- Replenish room supplies and ensure all items are stocked and organized.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the management team.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored and maintained properly.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Work efficiently to meet daily room turnover goals without compromising quality.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (such as linens and cleaning supplies) as required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.

Pay: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 25 per week
