A service based in Greensborough is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 30.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance
Hours will be Monday -Friday, 6:45 - 9:00 AM (Rise Then Shine) and 03:00 - 06:00 PM ( Stay and Play Program ) plus 4 additional admin hours. During school holidays and on professional development days, shifts will be 6:45 AM - 6:00 PM.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Greensborough, this is a small service with a strong sense of community. Your rapport building skills will be valued as you get to know all of the families in your service. You'll have access to a communal art room space and plenty of autonomy to create engaging activities with the kids.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Strong and clear communication and rapport building skills with families and school stakeholders Ability to work solo when needed Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights Holds or is currently studying an ACECQA-approved qualification at a Diploma level or above
