Showcase your procurement skills in a collaborative team environment Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and value-for-money outcomes Play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement and supplier relationships An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client's team for a short term contract supporting a broad range of goods, services, ICT, and infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in procurement who can work independently and adapt quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage medium and low-risk contractsSupport the development of significant or higher-risk contractsConduct contract negotiations and prepare procurement documentationProvide advice on procurement, contract renewals, and extensionsFacilitate tender evaluations, due diligence, and probity processesSkills, Attributes and Experience:2–3 years minimum procurement experience, ideally within the government or public sectorStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work largely autonomously with minimal supervisionSound analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong proficiency with ERP softwareQuick to learn and navigate systems and processesDiversity, Equity & Inclusion at HudsonHudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
