Are you a gamer and wish you could combine your long hours playing video games with your maths degree? If so, we want to work with you to become one of the best Game Designers in the business. Lightning Box is a leading independent developer of slot games for the Online, Land-Based and Social Casino markets. If you have completed, or are about to complete, a Math's or Statistics degree and have a penchant for game mechanics, then this is the job for you. And if you are into slots, that's a double bonus.

Lightning Box is highly regarded in the casino games industry and this role represents an exciting opportunity to get into an extremely sought-after Game Designer role.

In this role, you will
- Have access to Ex Aristocrat and IGT Game Designers with more than 20 years' experience each.
- Develop formulas for new and interesting features.
- Turn spreadsheets and statistics into great games.
- Learn how to program games into working prototypes
- Analyse and report on other games in the market.
- Prepare submission documentation and QA games for highly regulated jurisdictions.
- Work alongside artists and programmers developing the latest in slot games.
- Have a unique opportunity to work in Online, Land-based and Social Casino verticals.
- Work with our clients from the European, USA and Canadian markets.
- Work in our spacious waterfront office at Sydney's King Street Wharf.

**Qualifications**:
You will need
- Mathematical or Statistics degree, or due to complete this year.
- Top notch Excel Skills.
- Excellent organisational and communications skills are a must.
- An obsessive interest in gaming.
- Experience and interest in the casino gaming industry a distinct advantage.
- Some software/programming skills definitely advantageous
