CWESH is situated at the Caboolture Watchhouse and is an independent campus of the Queensland Education and Training Centre (QETC). The newly established campus will operate under a separate operational model, which will be collaboratively developed in consultation with partner agencies and key stakeholders over the coming months. Upon establishment, the hub will educate up to 31 students across a 48-week year delivery model. The curriculum will focus on individualised literacy and numeracy learning and the social development of students utilising restorative practice principles.
QETC is a multi-campus Department of Education school operating within South-East Queensland's Youth Detention Centres at Wacol. QETC is a school that caters to male and female students from across the state who are either on remand or have been sentenced for criminal offences.

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a competent all-rounder who can work across multiple disciplines in a complex and unique education setting. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Head of Campus and teaching staff to support and engage students detained in the Caboolture Watchhouse Hub.
The role will be incredibly varied, and you may be asked to provide specialist support in areas such as:

- Specific learning needs;
- Literacy and numeracy;
- Language and culture for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students;
- English as a second language;
- Health and Physical education.

You will be required to work within a Queensland Police Service (QPS) custodial environment. This role involves direct contact and interaction with young people accommodated in the Caboolture Watchhouse.
