We work flexibly in our Sydney CBD offices; after onboarding you will generally spend 3 days a week in the office This role is available for an initial period of 6 months About the role Our Financial Services Administrators sit within the Retail Customer Services Team, a team that is diverse in their experience, and invested in making a difference to our customers and contribute to the leading service Challenger is known for.

This role provides the perfect opportunity to work and collaborate with team members across Client Services, with development opportunities to skill up across the wider Retail Client Services team as the need arises.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable to change and seek this out as part of their own development.
Core Role Responsibilities: Processing applications, maturities, and withdrawals for clients within set SLAs Vetting incorrect forms and requests and following up via email and outgoing phone calls to investors and financial advisers Identify and escalate priority issues with Leaders for quick resolution.
Desire to support our extended team to meet customer servicing needs by skilling up.
Attend relevant training and meetings and demonstrates constructive participation in collaborative settings.
Proactive in own learning and seeks opportunity for growth and development of new skills.
Leverage your creativity to identify opportunities to recommend and influence process improvements.
Make responsible decisions within limits of authority to resolve minor difficulties and devise solutions to unique problems.
Other duties as assigned by Team Leader to meet customer and team needs.
What you'll need.
You will ideally have studied in a finance related discipline.
12 months customer service experience (not limited to financial services).
Confident and professional written communication skills.
Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills.
Sound computer literacy and the ability to work with multiple applications.
Great attention to detail, you'll pride yourself on your accuracy.
Demonstrated success working in a team.
Awareness of customer service principles and practices.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
An understanding of Retirement and Managed Investment products in the Australian market would be highly regarded.
