Charles disability services is a disability service provider that provides support to people living with a disability and is currently seeking reliable support workers to work within a person-centered framework to provide support to our clients.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing safe, consistent, and individualized support for clients and their families and you will possess a combination of values, skills and experience working with individuals who require different levels of support.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Engage participants in activities aligned with their goals and aspirations
- Encourage participants to particiapte in social outings and community events
- Domestic assistance ( house cleaning, shopping, Laundry e.t.c)
- Personal care ( Assistance with showering, dressing, toileting, eating, e.t.c.)
- Transportation of clients to and from appointments
- Promote capacity building by assisting clients to develop skills such as budgeting, taking public transport, meal preparation e.t.c)

**About you**
- Cert 3 in individual support and/or minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
- Completed NDIS worker orientation module
- Must be able to obtain NDIS worker screening check and working with children check
- Infection control online training (Covid 19)
- Covid 19 vaccination + flu shot
- Proof of identfication
- Proof of working rights
- Police Clearance (dated within 6 months)
- First aid Certificate

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perth WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
