**_Fabrication Trade Assistant Role:_**
- Assist with the manufacture and installation of vessel components.
- Forklift use - deliver, organise, unload and dispatch parts around the workshop.
- Adhere to Austal's Safety and Quality standards.
- Prepare work areas by ensuring they are clean and tidy.
- Confined space work and Confined space watch duties
- Fire watch duties

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
- Have a passion for Fabrication, experience is not necessary.
- Knowledge of power and hand tools
- Be physically fit and be comfortable working in confined spaces, as well as working at heights.
- Confined space training would be advantageous.
- Forklift ticket
