Graduate Environmental Consultant

The Environmental Consultant specializes in preparing approval documentation, site assessments, technical studies, and audits for a range of environmental management situations and challenges.Responsibilities include:Designing and executing environmental field investigations, including soil or groundwater sampling and soil vapour assessment.Coordinating projects, including managing budget, scope, timeline, stakeholder communication, and client relationships.Preparing technical site reports with minimal assistance, prior to final review from senior management.Overseeing contractors and ensuring safe and quality field programs.Directing and guiding site remediation activities.Supporting EPA-appointed Environmental Auditors across industry sectors.Interacting with regulatory authorities.Developing comprehensive and competitive technical proposal scopes.Maintaining working knowledge of relevant VIC environmental legislation and contaminated land guidelines.Attending industry workshops, webinars, and seminars as a company representative.Applying understanding of the national technical framework such as NEPM (Assessment of Site Contamination).
Exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in relevant environmental documentation.Completing lab work in line with NATA accreditation.Providing support to less experienced team members.
