**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for a Data Centre Technician to join the facilities team which operates on a 24/7 basis.

Based in Macquarie Park, the purpose of this role is to support the Facility Management team with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Assist with customer equipment installations
- Attend to Remote Hands requests ensuring they are delivered to specification and within SLAs
- Provisioning of customer supporting infrastructure (power and connectivity)
- Assist with monitoring and maintenance of all critical infrastructure including electrical and mechanical systems
- Ensure that any facility incidents are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner
- General facility maintenance and upkeep, ensuring we deliver a quality service, and the site is maintained in a world class condition for our customers

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service, communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
- Basic knowledge of data centres, data cabling and cable management
- A passion for learning about data centres and how things work
- Keen interest in solving and fixing problems
- TAFE Cert III in Telecommunications (desirable)
