Education Evaluator

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Queensland Police Service Full time

Design, development, implementation and administration of analytical tools for the evaluation of education and training products and services across a range of policing programs and recommend initiatives as appropriate.
- Contribute to the provision of strategic advice in relation to the evaluation of education and training products and services ensuring integration of evaluation and assessment tools to promote authentic learning and the transfer of learning into the workplace.
- Work collaboratively with other education and training specialists and program areas to ensure the results of education and training evaluations are understood and acted upon.
- Provide the professional expertise necessary for consultation and advisory services for senior managers in relation to the implementation of best practice with innovative approaches to the evaluation of education and training.
- Prepare high-level advice, reports, submissions, briefing materials and correspondence for senior management.
- Undertake project planning and analysis and integrate project activities into the program's business plan and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives.
- Assist in coordination and management of projects involving police officers and staff members to ensure the development of professional and effective education products and to ensure completion of projects within negotiated time frames.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with internal clients and external agencies to foster productive networks and partnerships and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and monitor trends and emerging issues pertaining to education and training.
- Fostering a stimulating, equitable, ethical and safe working environment for staff which encourages commitment, skills development and professional growth.

Special Conditions
There are no mandatory requirements for this role however the possession of a relevant degree level qualification (or higher) with a significant focus on evaluation is highly desirable.
