**A day in the life...**:

- Provide thought leadership in IT strategy and influence decisions regarding Haymes Paint technology and infrastructure and functional set up
- Lead with enthusiasm and pace the development of transformative solutions to support sustainable business operations.
- Create overall strategies for organisation-wide system architecture and design, policies and procedures and corporate governance of information technology and data incl. cyber security.
- Oversee the project implementation of our IT Strategic Roadmap and the work of the Project team in conjunction with key stakeholders in business units.
- Transform the IT Operating Model to ensure high calibre functional structure, policies and process flow, as well as team & partnering capability.
- Lead your team through effective workload and resource management, coaching and development as well as inspiration and empowerment
- Table and drive innovation opportunities with key stakeholders and drive their fit for purpose and scalable implementation across all business units
- Determine, agree, delegate and monitor targets and budgets and benchmark performance of all to manage annual operating and capital budgets.

**Your primers are**:

- Recognised as a people leader who leads from the front but also empowers their team to drive the technology strategy and provide outstanding operational leadership.
- Demonstrated track record of success in driving business value through IT enablement in a customer centric environment.
- Proficient in contract negotiations, vendor service management and capacity planning.
- Demonstrated solid project management, functional operations know how as well technical knowledge.
- A history of embedding modern ways of working and taking a cross functional approach to problems and solutions.
- Strong relational intelligence and proven ability to build productive, durable and trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant technology experience including senior leadership experience in an IT / strategic solutions environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency
