Central Roofing Supplies is a Tasmanian roofing and home improvements manufacturer, with an extensive range of products including roofing, rainwater products, patio systems, and an innovative range of fascia designs that are custom made in Hobart. A family-owned business at heart, Central Roofing Supplies are a part of the Stratco group, working together to produce quality building products for their valued customers.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Central Roofing Supplies Operations Team are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sheet Metal worker to join the team. This position will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling standard and customised products for our trade and retail customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
- Operating metal folding, roll form and bending machines and general sheet metal equipment
- Picking and packing products
- General forklift duties
- Interpreting product drawings
- Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- ** Essential** - Forklift ticket or willingness to obtain
- ** Desirable** - Relevant work experience although happy to train in how to operate machinery
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
