We value creativity, flexibility, and the integration of modern technology to engage students in their educational journey.We are seeking a Diverse Learning Teacher to join our dynamic school community on an ongoing full-time basis.This appointment is for a temporary full-time position commencing in Term 4, 2025, and concluding on 19 December 2026.To join our vibrant school community, you will:Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans.Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and challenge students to improve their performance, thereby enhancing the overall academic achievement of the school community.Engage with our school community both within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational experience for students and promote strong links between school, home, and community in the social and intellectual development of your students.Demonstrate passion for transformational education, integrated into curriculum and delivered in a faith-based environment.Have well-developed communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.Experience and interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs may be advantageous.The successful candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of the NCCD, Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA), and Disability Standards for Education 2005.Experience in creating personalized plans for students with a range of diverse needs.Experience supporting diverse learners from Years 5-12 within flexible, agile spaces.Experience facilitating staff development and parent education programs, including staff meeting presentations, professional learning, and parent information sessions.Specialist/Inclusive Education qualifications.Cert IV in TAE would be beneficial.What We Offer:25% discount on school fees for your children enrolled in Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CSPD) schools.Competitive salary and benefits under the NSW & ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.Annual leave with 17.5% leave loading and salary packaging options.Access to modern facilities, resources, and employer superannuation contributions.Professional development opportunities, including induction processes and Early Career Teacher support.Leadership and wellbeing programs.Qualifications:Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).
