Haynes are currently seeking a **Pipelayer** for our valued client located in **Geebung.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Undertake labouring duties as directed and perform tasks involving physical labour
- Working on road, highway and heavy constructions projects.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools of all types
- Use compaction equipment, earth tampers, cement mixers, generators, water pumps and demolition saws and breakers
- Assembling and removal of temporary fencing/traffic barriers and dig trenches and ditches
- Installation of sewer, water and drainage pipes, fittings, conduits and culverts
- Drive and operate various vechiles
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Act in accordance with relevant Workplace Health and Safety Legislation, Codes of Practice and company procedures.
- Act in accordance with relevant Environmental Legislation and company procedures
- Perform all specified duties uner the company's Integrated Management System

**About You**
- Must have experience in Civil Construction pipe laying
- Have a OH&S General Induction Card (White/Blue)
- Driver's License is essential
- Up to date immunisations (Tetanus, Hep A & B)
- Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening, where required
- Be mechanically minded and able to operate various tools and equipment
- Motivated and strong work ethic - must be reliable
- Advantageous qualifications - Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets / HR or MR Driver's Licence / Work in confined spaces certificate / Working at Heights / Traffic Control or Management certicate / Class B Licence to remove non friable asbestos and Class A / PE Pipe Welding (E/F and or Butt)
