PPS is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in our Maddington Location. This role will report to the Procurement Manager, assisting to acquire and managing the goods and services for the business.

**About the Role-**
- Recording all procurement activities including contracts, Purchase orders & invoices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies
- Providing timely and useful reports to senior management
- Load and Unload transport using forklift
- Respond to internal and external supplier enquiries
- Ensure inventory stocks are kept at required levels
- Make ADHOC site visits when required

**Successful applicants must have -**
- Have experience in a similar role or warehouse -minimum of 2 years
- Hold a valid forklift ticket and able to operate
- Have an understanding of logistics and truck loading requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Understands costing and set up of financial/cost control processes
- Excellent customer relations
- See's safety as a personal responsibility
