**Your day to day**
As a laundry attendant you will be making sure all of the linen from our rooms and the restaurant are washed, pressed and returned allowing our team members to provide true hospitality to all of our guests. It's up to you to ensure that all washed linen is looking fresh and clean.

You will need to:

- Ensure correct usage of all equipment
- Maintain linen room and equipment in high standard of cleanliness and repair
- Comply with and demonstrate awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Washing, drying, pressing and folding clean linen from rooms and outlets
- Delivery of clean linen to room attendants service areas
- Assist with inventory taking and maintain records of new linen, discard and issues
- Receive soiled/dirty uniforms, count and record them and launder them
- Inspect all uniforms to ensure that they are being used properly and are in good order before issuing to colleagues
- Experience tailoring garments as required. Including but not limited to colleague uniform mending, labelling and alterations, guest garment alterations and mending, and Hotel linen

**What we need from you**
- Friendly Personality and positive attitude
- Written and oral communications skills - ability to develop rapport within a short time frame
- Neat and tidy personal presentation
- To be able to work in a close small team environment
- Flexible working hours availability 24 hours / 7 days across a rotating roster

The ability to perform basic repairs to hotel uniforms and hotel linen will be highly regarded.

You must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
