We are current seeking a Senior Associate to join our highly successful M&A/private equity (PE) team in Australia. The role will involve working on public and private M&A transactions in Asia Pacific, including takeovers/PIPEs involving Australia listed companies, growth/pre-IPO investments, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and auction sales, for leading PE funds and corporates.
- PQE: ideally 5-6 PQE
- Strong PE/M&A background and experience working with international clients
- Common law qualified
- Knowledge of Australia-specific rules/codes (e.g. Australia Listing Rules, Takeovers Code etc) would be an advantage

How we will support you

Lawyers are given the chance to handle a tremendous variety of work and the partners actively work towards ensuring individual lawyers receive their preferred mix of work. You will be given responsibility for running transactions and working closely with clients and other lawyers. This means that you will develop outstanding transaction management and organisational skills as well as developing superb technical abilities.
