**Job Description**:
We are seeking an **Experience Food Process Worker** to join Midas Mediterranean

**Specifics**:

- Casual employment term
- _ Start time of 7am for every shift_
- Approx. 20 - 25 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours to cover leave and peak periods
- More hours will be available as production increases
- Longer-term opportunities available for casual employees who show exceptional skill and work ethic with potential to develop further.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Independently operating and monitoring food processing equipment and machinery, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently,
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment,
- Sort, wash, peel and chop vegetables, ensuring they meet quality standards,
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes or production requirements,
- Assist in the preparation of food products by assembling and mixing ingredients as directed (including meat products).
- Package finished products into appropriate packaging, following labeling and packaging guidelines,
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging to maintain consistent standards,
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and practices, including proper food handling of food products and personal protective equipment (PPE),
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines,
- Report and equipment malfunctions, product defects or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements of the role**:

- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing is **essential**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, standing for long periods and lifting heavy loads **(lifting up to 30kg boxes daily)**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Exceptional attendance and punctuality is a **must**
