Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleWe are currently looking for an Electrical Shutdown Supervisor who will provide leadership to a team who will be focused on the safe and quality execution of the shutdown plan and schedule.
This is a permanent position on an 8d 6x 7n 7x Tuesday start roster FIFO from Perth.
Reporting directly to the Shutdown Services Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising a diverse group of electrical maintenance technicians and isolation officers executing fixed plant maintenance activities in a shutdown environment.
Responsibilities include: Overseeing positioning de-energization of fixed plant equipment & balanced machines for shutdown maintenance.
Installation of lockbox permits by correctly identifying isolation points and following lock out and zero energy confirmation processes.
Execution of planned electrical maintenance activities in a shutdown environment.
Follows the shutdown management framework to achieve required milestones within the current shutdown cycle Manage and coach work groups on quality, task-based risk assessments Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities About You Strong safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation Be process driven Experienced in 1SAP work management Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Exceptional risk management skills Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations Sound time management skills Licenses and Appointments (once in role): Current Western Australian "A" Grade Electrical Workers license Current unrestricted West Australian 'C' class license ES26 Statutory Electrical Supervisor Appointment About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
