At Salveo Care, we are looking for Food Services Assistant. Are you ready to join our team?
Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will be working with a dedicated team of catering staff where you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents.

This role is essential in the preparation and overseeing of the provision of the resident's daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements whilst working cooperatively with care staff in a fun and positive work environment.

We are looking for someone with:

- Previous experience as a kitchen hand preferably in the Aged care setting (desirable but not essential)
- Food Handling Certificate (Basic Food Safety Practices - Healthcare Competency - HLTF207C or SITXFSA101), Current Food Handlers Certificate
- Food Preparation skills
- Understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene procedures and standard
- Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and weekend work
- Available for on-call shifts
- Must have a valid Police check and Must have a Covid Vaccination certificate.
- Locations: Melbourne Inner Suburbs, East and South East Melbourne

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Temp to perm, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
