**About the Business**

Solar Nextgen is a national solar power system design & installation company that specializes in solar powered energy solutions including photovoltaic solar (PV) panels, solar thermal heating systems, solar attic ventilation, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, energy efficient home improvements and commercial lighting.

Since its establishment in 2015, Solar Nextgen has managed to specialize in design, engineering, supply, installation, operations and maintenance solar-poweredof solar PV systems.

During this valuable journey, we have managed to develop a professional network of experienced solar installers, engineers and contractors that enable us to achieve our endeavour of raising the bar in the solar industry.

**About the Role**

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be required to assist Head Electricians on new build projects.

Core work for this would include but would not be limited to:

- Switchboard upgrade;
- Down light replacement;
- Switch and power-point replacement;
- Exhaust fan replacement, oven and cooktop repair and replacement;
- Supporting electricians, contractors and operators with general assistance;
- Ensuring the worksite and associated equipment is clean, safe, tidy and ready for use;
- Undertaking and completing assigned tasks with mínimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.solar-poweredenergy-efficient

**Selection Criteria**
- General electrical experience or experience working in similar settings;
- Experience in cable pulling & cable tray installation;
- Ability to use power & hand tools;
- Valid driver's license and own transport;
- Full working rights within Australia;
- White card.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term, Casual
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays

Supplemental pay types:

- Annual bonus
- Bonus

- Weekly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
