Adelaide, South Australia Workforce Hire Full time

Workforce Hire have multiple opportunities for production and packaging staff to work in a manufacturing facility in the inner-city suburbs of Adelaide. As part of the production team, you will be involved in the packaging, labelling and quality control of science laboratory equipment including working with complex manufacturing equipment, operating production lines and performing quality checks.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL-TIME HOURS

The role includes:

- Day and Afternoon shift
- Fast paced packaging
- Maneuvering & stacking boxes (avg 5kg, up to 1.6m high)
- Quality checks of raw animal products, final product and packaging
- Following production processes and performing tasks in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice
- Documenting product batch numbers
- Perform the setup and preparation of manufacturing equipment
- Working in a clean room
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
- Availability to work 30 - 40 hours per week
- Strong work ethic with a high attention to detail
- A mature and positive attitude
- The ability to follow written instructions
- Experience working in a similar position preferably in FMCG/GMP/Pharmaceuticals and/or food industries
- Sound numeracy & literacy skills
- Problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts, as required
