**Program Focus**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement inspiring programs for children aged 5-12 years.
- Inspire educators to train in best practice programming and implementation.
- Connect with the OSHC/early education sector through networking, service visits and conferences.
- Guide inquiry projects as an extension to the curriculum.
- Foster effective communication with staff and families.
- Drive the NQS quality improvement process, in partnership with Coordinators and Quality Leader
- Provide valuable input to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services
- Adhere to best-practice procedures and policies.
- Work with the centre Coordinator and Quality Leader to lead and inspire the team.
- As the 2IC (2nd-in charge), being responsible for the day-to-day running of the service in the absence of the coordinator

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills with a positive approach to interactions.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Curriculum Framework (MTOP)
- Ability to plan and implement engaging activities for small and large groups.
- Current First Aid qualification and Child Protection certificate.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Botany, NSW 2019: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- childcare / OSHC: 2 years (preferred)
