About the role
The Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver is a Full-time position, based at Hume, ACT.
Reporting to the Branch Controller, you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
* Support daily warehouse operations, including stock placement, loading, and unloading
* Operate a forklift for the best part of the role — valid forklift licence and experience required
* Manage stock movements, including receiving inbound deliveries and loading customer orders for distribution, while complying with safety requirements
* Accurately complete documentation and ensure proper labelling and presentation of stock
* Perform data entry, respond to phone enquiries, and assist with online order processing when required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse through regular general housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
Your hours are Monday to Friday 7AM to 3PM.
About you:
* Current forklift license with sufficient experience is essential.
* Computer literacy is desirable.
* Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
* A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
* A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
* Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
