In this role, you'll be responsible for operating high-speed printing presses to produce daily and weekly newspapers at a professional standard.
You'll help ensure that every print run is accurate, on time, and up to our quality expectations.Key Responsibilities:Set up and run modern web offset presses for newspaper printingMonitor press performance and quality throughout each runMake real-time adjustments to ink flow, tension, registration, and alignmentTroubleshoot technical issues to avoid downtimePerform routine maintenance and assist with mechanical repairs when neededWork closely with editorial, prepress, and finishing teams to meet daily deadlinesFollow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of equipment and materialsWhat You'll Bring:Prior experience in print production or operating commercial printing equipment (preferred)Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with large machineryStrong attention to detail and a good eye for print qualityAbility to work on your feetFlexibility to work night shifts, weekends, or holiday schedulesReliability and a strong sense of ownership over your workBonus if you have:Experience with newspaper-specific press equipmentKnowledge of prepress and finishing processesFamiliarity with automation systemsWhy You'll Love Working Here?
