Ideal for candidates with sourcing, tendering, and compliance experience Short-term role with ASAP start Manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client's team for a short term contract supporting a broad range of goods, services, ICT, and infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in procurement who can work independently and adapt quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage medium and low-risk contractsSupport the development of significant or higher-risk contractsConduct contract negotiations and prepare procurement documentationProvide advice on procurement, contract renewals, and extensionsFacilitate tender evaluations, due diligence, and probity processesSkills, Attributes and Experience:2–3 years minimum procurement experience, ideally within the government or public sectorStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work largely autonomously with minimal supervisionSound analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong proficiency with ERP softwareQuick to learn and navigate systems and processesPlease note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
